Master Lawyer Tatiana EMANUEL

Tatiana comes from a family of immigrants on both sides and has always been interested in the unique story of every person who has come to Canada. She recognizes that no two cases are the same, whether it’s a person coming to Canada temporarily or someone looking to settle here permanently. With this in mind, Tatiana strives to understand each client's unique goals and background, providing personalized immigration advice and support.Tatiana earned her Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, where she also participated in the Immigration and Refugee Law Clinic at Downtown Legal Services. Through her experience at the clinic, Tatiana developed her passion for immigration and refugee law. She also gained a deeper understanding of the complex issues involved in preparing asylum applications, humanitarian and compassionate grounds requests, and danger opinions, among other matters.Tatiana's first client to obtain permanent resident status in Canada was her own husband, and her first clients to obtain temporary resident permits were her brother’s in-laws. Being able to help her family achieve their immigration goals gave Tatiana a full understanding of the importance of the immigration process for individuals and families, as well as the stress it often brings. She strives to help every client navigate the process with the same care and attention she would give to her own family.In her free time, Tatiana enjoys exploring nature, often accompanied by her dog Riley when possible. When stuck indoors on a gloomy day, you’ll likely find her in the kitchen, trying out a new recipe and searching for the perfect wine to pair with it.
