Amanat Sandhu, BA (with honors), MA, Double JDImmigration LawyerAmanat has extensive experience in a wide range of immigration matters, including study permits, work permits, temporary and permanent residency applications, and judicial reviews.Amanat holds a Double Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and the Mercy School of Law at the University of Detroit. Prior to law school, Amanat earned a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from York University.During her law studies, Amanat participated in various moot court competitions, including the Windsor Law Immigration Debate, the Zuber Moot Court Competition, the Patrick A. Keenan Appellate Advocacy Tournament (where she was a finalist), and the Adam F. Fanaki Competition Law Moot (also as a finalist). Through these competitions, Amanat had the opportunity to argue before many distinguished lawyers and judges, including Justice Rothstein of the Supreme Court of Canada. Her litigation experience has instilled in her a fierce passion for advocacy, enabling Amanat to zealously represent her clients in a variety of complex immigration matters.Amanat is fluent in Punjabi and is currently in the process of obtaining her license to practice law in the United States.
