Khurshid joined LS Legal Solicitors in September 2022 as a solicitor and head of the Immigration Department.He previously worked as a social assistant for the Government Legal Department, where he provided advice to the Home Office, gaining valuable experience and insight into its decision-making processes.In 2018, he transitioned into private practice and subsequently qualified as a solicitor specializing exclusively in immigration and nationality law.Khurshid handles all types of immigration and nationality matters, assisting businesses and individuals with an impeccable track record of success. Recently, he has helped startups secure Skilled Worker sponsorship licenses and guided foreign workers through Skilled Worker visa applications.He is particularly passionate about helping graduates regularize their stay in the UK and supporting children and families with British citizenship registration matters. Khurshid has successfully obtained citizenship for children, often on a discretionary basis.In addition, he has extensive experience in contentious immigration cases. He has successfully challenged Home Office decisions through judicial reviews and statutory appeals in the First-tier and Upper Tribunals. His expertise covers cases involving ILR revocation, deportation, unlawful detention, and trafficking.Outside work, Khurshid enjoys spending time with his family and two young children and is a passionate football enthusiast.
