Kathryn Clough is an Advocate and Commissioner for Oaths. Kathryn Clough was called to the Manx Bar in 2000 and joined Callin Wild in 2008.Kathryn is a partner in the firm’s litigation department and has experience in dealing with a broad range of disputes before the Manx Courts. She principally now practices a wide range of civil, commercial and trust litigation, advising clients both on-shore and off-shore and has extensive experience in obtaining interlocutory relief including freezing and disclosure orders and in relation to the appointment of Receivers to safeguard recoverable assets.In addition, Kathryn advises on various aspects of debt recovery, landlord and tenant matters, injunctions and cross border insolvency (both personal and corporate) and has also advised the local regulator, the Financial Services Authority as well as local authorities.Kathryn has co-authored the section on the Isle of Man in Asset Tracing and Recovery (the Fraudnet World Compendium) and is recommended in The International Who’s Who of Asset Recovery Lawyers 2013.Kathryn is recommended in the Legal 500 as one of Callin Wild’s litigation experts and is described as an ‘approachable and superb litigator’ who has ‘strong specialist knowledge of building and construction-related matters’.Kathryn is also recommended in Chambers and Partners as“approachable and knowledgeable, has good attention to detail and is an excellent litigator.”Kathryn was president of the Isle of Man Law Society (2021-2023) and served as Vice President (2019-2021).
