Khurshid joined LS Legal Solicitors in September 2022 as Solicitor and Head of the Immigration Department.Khurshid previously worked as a caseworker for the Government Legal Department, providing advice to the Home Office and gaining experience and insight into the Home Office decision making process.He shifted to private practice in 2018 and subsequently qualified as a Solicitor specialising exclusively in Immigration and Nationality Law.Khurshid handles all types of Immigration and Nationality law matters, working with businesses and private individuals and has an impeccable track record of success.He has recently assisted start-up companies in obtaining the skilled worker sponsor licence and assisted overseas workers with their skilled worker applications.Khurshid is also passionate about assisting graduates in regularising their stay in the UK and working with children and their families in Registration as a British Citizen matters. He has successfully obtained citizenship for children, often on a discretionary basis.Khurshid also has extensive experience in contentious immigration law matters. He has successfully challenged Home Office decisions by way of Judicial Review and statutory appeals before the First-Tier and Upper Tribunal in matters concerning revocation of ILR, deportation, unlawful detention and trafficking.Outside work, Khurshid enjoys spending time with his family and two young children and is passionate about football.
